Description If you crave pasta, but want to avoid the usual gluten and high GI, high carbs content – then this is the answer! Made entirely from legumes, red lentils in this case – this pasta has a great texture and taste, but without the downsides of wheat-based pasta. The texture and taste is different, admittedly, but similar enough to be familiar and endearing. It is also high in protein, prebiotic fibre and minerals – a great nutritional addition to any diet, also suitable for kids and especially for vegans and vegetarians. Did you know? Eating a variety of legumes 3-4 times a week, can help prevent chronic illnesses including heart disease, high blood pressure, cancer and weight gain as well as improve gut health. More about Happy Earth People: Happy Earth People was founded by two eco-health nuts, believing pulses are the nutritious superfood of the future and may even be the answer to climate change-related concerns about food security.
