Description The SciChem Circuit Kits provide everything required for students to safely carry out basic electrical circuit investigations. Two styles are available:The Panel KitHas all the components mounted on a fixed panel in a plastic storage tray with lid. Connections are made using standard 4mm leads (supplied) and a booklet with pictorial experiment layouts is included. The panel can be removed from the tray for servicing when required but ensures that nothing can go missing. Additional parts can be added alongside as required and stored in the vacant trays.The Component KitHas each item as a separate unit with connections via 4mm plug leads (supplied). Students can arrange the circuit in a logical way and extra parts can be added to suit individual needs. The components are mounted on rugged, fully enclosed acrylic bases which nevertheless allow the components to be seen and replaced if required.Additional Items:Battery PackTo provide the 1.5, 3, 4.5 and 6V required in the experiments. The kit can, of course, be used with any 6V DC power source.Materials PackProvides a set of insulating and conducting pieces. Connection can be made using the crocodile clip leads from the main kit.Measurement PackContains two multi-meters so that older students can take voltage, current and resistance measurements when required. Leads are included.Resistor UnitA resistor unit which has 5 resistors with labelled values plus 3 resistors labelled A, B and C.
