Description The Abbeytecâ„¢ Malin Overtrousers have been carefully designed to provide a loose fit over outerwear, allowing for layering in cold weather and providing a barrier to mud and slurry. Key features: Machine washable Longer leg length Elastic waist and draw cord Open pocket gaps, providing access to inner trouser pockets Shower-proof construction Leg Design We designed the Malin overtrousers to be loose fitting, allowing you to put them on without having to remove footwear and to be worn over the top of wellies. Our loose fit prevents any restrictions when crouching or kneeling. Draw Cord To prevent our overtrousers being loose around the waist or from falling down, we have used an elastic waistband and integrated a tough elastic draw cord. Long Length We wanted our Malin parlour wear to provide a good fit for a wide range of body types. We were disappointed with how short many overalls can be and so we deliberately designed our trousers with extra length in the larger sizes. Shower-proof Design We manufactured the Abbeytecâ„¢ Malin from a coated, waterproof and breathable fabric. The un-lined and un-insulated design helps keep things simple and allows the Malin to be more versatile in both warm and cold weather. The perfect construction for washing down. We listened to your comments on the features that you’d like to see and came up with a unique design to help overcome the challenges that dairy farmers face. Key features: Machine washable Twin side-mounted pockets with built-in drainage 3-step neck closure Large hook & loop wrist fastenings Longer length torso Shower-proof construction Reinforced utility loops Sleeve Design We used a raglan sleeve design in our parlour top which allows for less restricted movement and helps prevent our top from riding up when working overhead. We also over-sized the sleeves, providing more room for wearing layers underneath and allowing the sleeves to be rolled up and fastened above the elbow. Finally, we added a large hook and loop fastening to the wrist, allowing you to achieve a secure fit around milking gloves. Pockets We designed our pockets to be accessed from the side of the Malin top, allowing easier access when wearing a parlour apron. To prevent stray liquids accumulating in the pockets, we added a semi-stitched flap. We also included two utility loops allowing you to keep essential items, like dip cups, close to hand. Long Length We wanted our parlour top to be longer in the body and sleeves, providing better coverage for a wider range of body types. If we’ve learnt anything in our time, it’s that 6’6″ is not uncommon! Equally, we wanted our smaller sizes to provide extra length in the torso and sleeves, helping you to keep moving without leaving you exposed.
