
Galfer Shark® EVO rotors are designed for riders who demand the highest level of performance from their braking system, especially during aggressive riding, long descents, and high-stress conditions typical of Enduro, Downhill, and E-MTB bikes. The new generation of Shark® EVO rotors features an improved braking surface with greater mass and a larger contact area, enabling stronger, more consistent, and more controlled braking. The rotor is compatible with various types of brake pads, including larger ones, ensuring a good fit and consistent performance of the braking system. Special attention was also paid to cooling. Additional cooling fins and heat-dissipation vents help maintain a stable rotor temperature even during longer and more intense descents. This means less risk of brake overheating, more consistent braking power, and a longer service life for the entire braking system. The rotor core is made of high-quality 7075-T6 aluminum alloy and is fully CNC-machined. Galfer employs topological optimization in its design, achieving high rigidity, precision, and efficient force distribution during braking. The core and the braking surface are aligned in the same plane, which contributes to greater stability, more even brake pad wear, and reliable performance even in the most demanding conditions. For optimal performance, we recommend using GALFER Shark® EVO rotors in combination with the appropriate GALFER brake pads.
