The Ripley AF V2 is insanely good at practically everything—perfect for both experienced trail riders and enthusiastic beginners. The latest aluminum version retains that fast, playful feel the Ripley is known for and packs it into a durable aluminum frame, ready for whatever awaits you on the trail. With 130 mm of rear travel and 140 mm of front travel, it climbs surprisingly efficiently and descends well above its “travel” class. Its progressive, confident geometry gives it fast, responsive handling in tight turns, while remaining stable as speed increases. If you value agility, capability, and pure fun, the Ripley AF will quickly grow on you. Just like the carbon Ripley, it uses dw-link suspension and comes standard with 29-inch wheels front and rear, though you can use the flip chips to switch to a 27.5-inch rear wheel if you prefer a mullet setup. Hidden inside the down tube is a storage compartment with two included Ibis bags for tools, snacks, and essential small items—less weight on your back, more energy for riding. Every rider deserves the same balanced feel on the bike, which is why we use size-specific seat tube angles and suspension kinematics. The chainstay length and bottom bracket height are also tailored to each size to ensure proper weight distribution and handling from the smallest to the largest size. Five sizes are available—S, M, XM (Extra-Medium), L, and XL. The XM fills the gap in the middle of the range: approximately 80% of riders are between ~165 and ~183 cm (5’5”–6’0”), and this size is a perfect fit for them. If you were previously a definite L or XL, your choice remains the same. The Flip Chip lets you ride 29″/29″ or MX (29″ front / 27.5″ rear) on all sizes without compromising the intentionally designed geometry. The Ripley AF comes as a full 29er; the mullet setup is an available option. The DW-Link remains the heart of the bike—efficient pedaling on climbs, smoothness and traction on descents, and a feel that sets the standard for modern trail bikes. Size-specific kinematics ensure that every size rides superbly and stays smooth on demanding trails. The internal compartment in the down tube frees up space for a backpack: the latch works reliably even in cold and muddy conditions and while wearing gloves. The door is waterproof, quiet, and durable. Included are two Ibis inner bags made of durable, waterproof materials with a light-colored lining so you can quickly find what you need.
